The CEO Of Xiaomi Jun Lei has reportedly confirmed that the next Mi Band 2 fitness tracker will arrive in early June 2016. At the Recent MI Max and MIUI 8 launch in China the company announced that due to some manufacturing difficulties the launch is delayed. And now the Xiaomi CEO has confirmed that consumers will not have to wait any longer and very soon they will get the new MI Band 2 Fitness tracker.
The new fitness comes with the LCD screen along with a round physical button. As per the rumours, the new band has the silicone band able to display information such as time, date, step count, heart rate and calorie count, in addition to notifications for calls and messages. Not only this as per the sources the new and has some new features like support for music and call controls.
Mi Band 2 is the first Xiaomi fitness tracker which comes with the LCD screen. Like the previous MI Band users have to check all the detail on their smartphone, Now, this time, they don’t need to check the smartphone every time, all they need is Band in which they can see all the fitness activities. The company also announced that the new Mi Band 2 is quite affordable, just like its predecessors. The Mi Band and Mi Band 1s were both priced below $20, so it remains to be seen how affordable will be the Mi Band 2.
