Chinese telecom company Huawei launched its new android smartphone Honor 7 in India at a price of Rs 22,999. The new android smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart from October 15. The main USP of the Honor 7 phone is its metallic Unibody and a fingerprint sensor at the back. Which give a premium and nice look to the phone, and phone weighs around 157 grams and measures 8.5mm thick.
The Honor 7 is powered with the 2.2GHz Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor, Mali-T628 GPU and 3GB of RAM, 5.2-inch full-HD(1080x1920p) display with Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with 16GB storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card and the company has no plans to launch the 64 GB variant to the country. And also the Indian version phone comes with the single sim and in other countries the company is selling the same with dual sim feature.
The phone run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 running on top features a 20MP camera with a Sony sensor and dual-LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera. Also in the back of the phone near rear camera the phone features a fingerprint sensor that is claimed to read fingerprints in 0.5 seconds.
Connectivity options include: NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and 4G LTE. The Honor 7 is backed by a 3100mAh battery which comes with a quick charging feature that charges the phone from zero to full within 1 hour 25 minutes, and zero to 50 percent in 30 minutes. Not only this the phone has the reverse charging feature, which helps you to use your phone as the power bank to charge other devices. Also, the phone is armed with an IR remote and can be used to control over 26,000 products like ACs, TVs and more
The company also announced that in February 2016 they are going to release the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the phone.
